The birthplace of the late gardening writer Christopher Lloyd, Great Dixter is run by a Trust and its staff are dedicated to maintaining the quality and unique atmosphere of Great Dixter, protecting the house and its contents and ensuring that the garden remains open to inspire visitors with its exuberant and dynamic style of gardening. There are 10+ areas of different garden styles and the borders are mixed and not herbaceous so a splendid selection of flowers on show. Admission included for the House and Gardens. Refreshments available on site.On the return journey we will call in at Tenterden for a refreshment stop.
