Portobello Market in West London is one of the most famous street markets in the world and stretches for around two miles through the heart of Notting Hill. Portobello Road has been a market since the 1800s but became particularly famous for its antiques in the 1950s. Portobello is really several markets in one, it spans two miles and includes more than 2,000 dealers offering vintage clothes, handcrafted accessories, retro items and furniture, and many antiques that locals and visitors love to browse and buy.
