We have an excursion across rugged Dartmoor to Princetown, with the famous prison, continuing to Tavistock for a break and chance to obtain lunch and have a look around before we make our way back via places in the Tamar Valley.

The day is taken up with a drive to North Cornwall. In particular we will tour the area that includes Boscastle and Tintagel, the latter being forever associated with King Arthur
and his knights.

South Hams is the district in Devon with the highest property prices and many holiday and second homes. We travel to Kingsbridge and Salcombe to see what it's all about.
There's lots of time to explore this delightful area, enjoy lunch in a local pub or sit and watch the world go by. We return via Plymouth.
