We make for Tunbridge Wells in Kent and the first of  the day's included attractions is the short ride on the Spa Valley Railway. Transfer from the train to Groombridge Place for the formal gardens - about 10 of them - and the secret, mysterious gardens known as the 'Enchanted Forest'. The moated manor house (not open to the public) has been seen in many films, 'Pride and Prejudice' being a recent one.
