Cross the Channel through the tunnel, then drive to Brugge
(about 1.5 hrs) where there will be plenty of time for this
medieval gem of a city, criss-crossed by canals and cobbled
streets. Its specialities are lace, chocolate and, of course,
an enormous choice of Belgian beers. Passport required.
