Charles Dickens once lived in this quiet Kentish seaside
resort, and more recently it has been favoured by the late
prime minister Edward Heath MP. Dickens enthusiasts may like to
visit Bleak House and other renowned sites; others may just
enjoy a stroll round the harbour.
