Day 1 Monday
We make our way to Liverpool arriving at the Shankly Hotel 4 nights dinner, bed & breakfast.
DDay 2 Tuesday
Free day to marvel at the history, heritage and architecture of vibrant Liverpool. Two Cathedrals, a waterfront with the Albert Dock, Tate Liverpool, the Beatles Story, Pier Head, the Liver Building - all of these in a city with the largest collection of Grade I listed buildings in Europe. Maybe take a ‘Ferry ‘cross the Mersey’ as well.
B, DDay 3 Wednesday
Today we journey to Southport, an attractive Victorian seaside resort with pleasant gardens and the elegant Lord Street shops. And, dependent on the tide, we will visit Crosby for Anthony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’. 100 life size figure spread along 2 miles of the foreshore.
B, DDay 4 Thursday
Spend another day sightseeing in Liverpool, or join the coach for the Mersey Tunnel, the Wirral and Port Sunlight Village (optional). Built by William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers and named after his famous Sunlight soap, this is a superb example of how life used to be.

After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
