The birthplace of the late gardening writer Christopher Lloyd was built in C1460 and boasts one of the largest surviving timber frame halls in the country. The gardens have mixed borders, natural ponds and the startingly Exotic garden. Admission included. Visiting Tenterden for a lunch stop.
